Big Emergency, Graphic help please...

Well, it was not staying in, I held it for over a half an hour and it came out. I tried a few more times and it kept coming out. I tried again and it has not come back out yet. I don't think the chances of her recovering are very high at all but I will wait till tomorrow to decide if I am going to cull her. Thanks everyone :hugs

I appreciate and admire that you have willingly sought help and tried to assist her.

Prolapses are difficult under the best of circumstances because it’s almost never “just a prolapse”. There is usually a cause behind it.

I’d keep her in a warm, dark room for the night on a bed of towel or soft old t-shirts. You could even try vet wrap and a folded piece of cloth to sort of hold it in over night but if you decide to do this be sure to lubricate it well (such as lots of neosporin or hydrocortisone cream or similar) so it doesn’t dry out and stick. No other bedding (shavings etc)that would stick to it either.
Who knows. Maybe in the morning you will see some improvement. :fl
