It's been asked before, but can you post pics of your coop and set-up? Maybe we can come up with some suggestions to help you keep them.

I'm sorry, but I just can't keep them. They're causing us to be stressed, mostly my mother. And I haven't been feeling good lately. I'm gussing it's a stomach bug: abdominal cramping, gurgling, bathroom issues, no appetite, feeling tired.
I hope you find them a nice homeI never realized how many diseases chickens can get, and can give to you. It's better I just get rid of them.
You may have to list them on craigslist. Facebook would be another source or see if your local feed store has a bulletin board where you can place the ad.Thank-you. I have them listed here on the forum, but most of the responses I'm getting are from people trying to get me to keep them. The only person who offered to take them was too far away.
I wouldn't like the idea of sending them to a sanctuary if they aren't allow to be what they are supposed to be - egg layers....sort of defeats the purpose of being a hen if they are "fixed". Not sure what procedure they will use, but surgery is risky. No, Facebook has this thing where you're not supposed to sell chickens. And I might get an untrustworthy person respond to my ad. There is a farm animal sanctuary in Arlington, TX. The people who own it are serious animal nuts. My girls would get the highest vet care if need be, highly protected, and the woman sings to her animals. The only thing I don't care for that place is the people are OVERLY animal-nutty. My girls would be fixed to not lay eggs because these people are vegetarians.
