Keep reading...it says basically that they can impose a certain distance but that that distance CAN NOT keep you from having 6 hens.In the City of Houston the real issue is the 100ft distance requirement btw coup and residence. No one has that kind of space. As written it seems they'd still be able to impose that restriction.
"A municipality MAY impose....including:....the minimum distance an individual must maintain...".
The original bill set this distance at something reasonable like 20ft or something. This one took that wording out and opens it up to the local authority.
