Good luck. Because there is so little movement, I picked an extra big bale. We put it in when the water was totally green in early April. I just noticed today that the pond is a tiny bit green. But the bale is sunk to the bottom and it is the decomposition of it that stops algae growth. Gonna bring it up and move it around a little. There is water movement with my ducks and geese only just like you but guess what? I vacuumed all that green slodge and icky stuff and
there is no green in my pond at all yet. Wow I am truly amazed. Was sure it would all be back already but nothing at all. That is so cool!
Barley straw is a great idea and I will order that for sure. I did see it was available in pellets but I am scared the ducks and geese will eat them
so I will go with a bale.
Thank you for info!
