It’s been 9 months since we have taken him in. What breed is he?

He has a big ‘overhanging’ flabby comb.

He could be a cross with at least some Brown Leghorn to get that color and big floppy of his. That's purely a guess.

He looks fairly small, from how he's perched on the hand in the first pic. Where did you get him from? pure bred or mix?

Animal rescue. we saved him from being squashed by a car when he was a chick. He has imprinted on us ever since. First time raising a chicken.
