Bikers and Chicks

gritsar , post pics when he gets them built or sketches of what he wants to build.

DH called and they finally got a part and are heading for home. Hopefully I'll see him in 4-5 hours.

He said he was not about to tell that he slid on an oil spot. That story is boring. So he's going blame it on alchol.

Yep that sounds nicer.

Oh, I decided that I would take the tire off of his truck and put it in my blazer so I could take it to get a new one, then maybe he will be less stressed when he gets home.

Well, now I know why blonds don't change tires.

I got it jacked up, put a cement block under it. and started loosing the nuts like I have seen him do in a criss cross patern.

nope, I had both feet on the crow bar wrenth thingy and was jumping up and down. It wouldn't move.

I'm glad we don't have neighbors that could have seen that. It might have landed on YouTube.

We bought a bike last summer. My hubbie took the safety course and got his license in June, so I will be able to ride with him this summer! Yeah! We sold the farm and will be moving in 11 months, so we will be planning on some trips together. Won't have any chickens to take care of.....

When we attended Bike Week in Daytona last year we trailered the bike to Florida and made a stop in NC (my hometown is Asheville). Riding the Blue Ridge Parkway on a bike is great, but not for the faint of heart. We also rode alot while in Florida. It was great. However, my absolute favorite bike trip/rally was in Hot Springs, Arkansas last September. Hot Springs is beautiful, the locals were great about dealing with all the bikes, and the rally was very well organized (including a concert). We will definitely be attending that rally each year.

I power feed and water. I have a pvc type feeder on the wall in one coop. But I pay my teenage son to care for my flock if I am going to be out of town. He's pretty good most times.
