BIN -12+ Mixed eggs for fun - Colored Egg Pack

They both look like they'll be blue easter eggers. The steel grey feathers are 'blue'. I'll see if I can find a picture of one that feathered out before I sold it.

I would love to see a picture. By the way, both dark brown eggs hatched out. One was completely black and the other was really dark with some small patches of white, similar to the other EEs that have hatched. Do you now what they might be?

black with small white around the cheek from a dark egg is a marans or marans mix. check the feet and legs for a smattering of feathers.

Here's our little flock! They are very healthy and doing great!

This little gray one below is already my favorite, very sweet natured. From her feathers I'm guessing (and hoping) pullet, but as I understand it feather sexing isn't entirely accurate.

Hey kizanne, my broody hen hatched the first egg of yours last night and it came from one of the darker brown eggs, but was a yellow chick! Lol. What could it be? I thought for sure it would be black or something coming from a dark egg but, nope most definitely yellow. I'll try to get pics after work to show you. On day 20 so hopefully I'll have more news coming :)

It is possibly a Delaware. I figured out they lay dark eggs. When you got eggs I don't think they were in my normal mix but sometimes my daughter collects eggs. She is 14 and fairly responsible but she might have gotten some of the pen's eggs mixed in especially since at that time we thought our only dark egg layers were the marans and marans mix. Now the Delawares are part of the mix. I'm sorry about that. Hope a consistent dark brown egg layer is ok with you. Or course I can't be sure as since they are all hybrid it is a surprise but the ones I've hatched are fairly consistent haven't hatched any Delaswares yet. The gray one is called 'blue' and will feather out a steel bluish gray. I just sold my feathered out blue one. The mom is a splash and she should lay a blue egg. I love the color. I noticed that when I first got chickens they were all black with some black and white. Then I got a few reds. Silly as it sounds I really enjoyed when my one Ameracauna hatched splash just for some different colors. Now I love the color on the Blue laced Red Wyandottes.

Did the solid black come out of a blue or tan egg. If it came from a tan egg then it is a girl the barred rocks are sex linked.

Looks like 3 easter eggers, 3 marans mix, 1 rock/Orph girl, in that picture. Though the black one can be an easter egger too as I have two black ameracauna's so if it came from a blue egg sex is in the air but would be an easter egger.

Kizanne I just wanted to thank you for the beautiful eggs. You shipped as promised and eggs were wrapped extremely well and all arrived intacked. I ordered a dozen and you sent me extra which was much appreciated. All the eggs were fertile and of 16, 13 have grown to lockdown!! That's impressive! :)
I can't thank you enough and would highly recommend you and eggs to anyone! You have been great to work with and I can't wait to share your babies' pics!

Thank you again and for those wanting to know the quality of her eggs and shipment, I recommend her 100%!

The solid black one (seconds from right) came from a dark brown egg and the one in the back left with it's head down between the two looking at the camera also came from a brown egg, the rest came from blue eggs.

We are so happy with our chicks!
