BIN -12+ Mixed eggs for fun - Colored Egg Pack

Just wanted to say thanks again! And show off your lovely chicks who are a week old now! They have the best temperament of any chicks so far! Here is 4 of them!

Quote: Try looking at a hardware store or a plant nursery that deals with green houses. A garden supply store more so I guess. I figure those types of places would have cheap analog ones that would totally do the trick and be just as easy to read...I was being lazy so I got the one from walmart, and really I like it a lot even though it was way more than I wanted to pay for a hygrometer, heck it's more than I paid for the 2 dozen eggs I set, but it works and my incubation is going along just great.

I would LOVE to get some of these especially the Australorpes. ONLY problem is that I do not have paypal :( I am doing this for my kids to help them learn some things. My son has Aspergers and he loves taking care of what we have already! PLEASE let me know what you can do for me!

Thanks!

Mine are hatching today as we speak. Anyone willing to share egg color and pics of your babies at 5 weeks or more so the rest of us will have eye candy?!?!?! ;D

A small light pink egg just hatched a wet baby but I can already see the tips of it's wings are yellow.

Here are some of ours that we bought from Kizanne! They are 4-5 weeks old when we took these pics. Still trying to figure out who is a boy and a girl. They are slower to show than some of the other breeds we have had. I think that EE's Ameracunas and Wyandottes are hard to tell early on though. None of ours are showing signs of the BLRW Roo. Looks like the Black Orpington was doing its job the month we got our eggs (March).

#1 This one hatched out of a Medium Blue Egg... thinking a girl

#2 This was another one from a Medium sized Blue Egg.. hoping another girl

#3- hatched out of a small pink wyandotte egg.. feathering out pretty black.

#4- Hatched out of a small blue egg.. very rooster looking so far

Here is what they looked like at a few days...

Here is what they looked like around 2 weeks I think... red heat lamp throws their color off.

We had 6 hatch... not sure of pics of the others. But they are pretty much all black. All are very sweet with great temperaments.

Many thanks for sharing your beautiful babies!!!! :D. I'll post some in a couple of days when they are hatched and fluffy!

Kizanne chicks that are four days old!

This is the same calico chick as above but wanted to show the yellow spot on its head.

I can't wait to see the yellow one feather out, it has a grey tinge to the yellow. It will be interesting to see how they look in a few weeks!
