**this is a coincidence by the way. My deathlayer appears to have wounds not tumors**

Hi, I need an expert here. Is it common for birds to be getting tumors?

I had a quail with a giant wing tumor two weeks ago, inside in one habitat. Now my Totleger (Deathlayer) is showing signs of head tumor.

I pamper these birds like children and make sure their every need is taken care of. They never have stress and their diet is excellent. THeir water is always fresh. Bedding always fresh ( I clean DAILY). No dietary changes, I follow all the recommendations on feed. I dont understand how TWO of my babies could have tumors.

Is this a a horrible coincidence, or is this something I'm causing by some unknown factor????

HELP Plz I cant bear to see my babies uncomfortable.

She is the lowest hen in the flock. She gets picked on. Do you think these are inflammed wounds? SHould I separate her, run some tylan, and see if she improves?
Separating out an already picked on bird can make that behavior worse, so if you separate make sure she remains in sight. I don't know about treating, whether it would any good or not. There are diseases that cause face swelling, but usually the birds look sick. I would look around for things she may be poking her head into.
