Birds at TSC- are they really pullets?

Well I'm glad some of you have had good luck with TSC. There is another tractor supply nearby so I may check out that store too and see if they have anything different. I've definitely gotten some interest in re-homing the roosters I have via Craigslist. No guarantees yet, but definitely interest.
I tried calling a local farm and asking if they might be willing to take them, and they were angry that I even suggested it. I figured the worst they could say was no, but instead the guy on the phone say "ABSOLUTELY NOT, NO F-----N' WAY!" And proceeded to slam the phone down.

Geez, sorry I asked. Anyways, I know sexing chicks isn't a science, so if I get 1 rooster out of 5, okay, but I can't do 4 more.

That seems a bit unnecessary

I bought seven barred rock pullets from TSC
Me too. I got my day old chicks last August. All 7 were Pullets. GC

So it looks like several of you have done well with barred rock pullets from TSC. I'm going to check the other TSC location and see what they have first, then ill make my decision. I don't want to throw in the towel completely on chickens just because of a bad start! Two of the roosters have already found a good home on Craigslist. Based on the person I talked to, It sounds like they won't be turned into dinner. I have had a few other inquiries about them but everyone else also wants the lone hen, which is fine but I can only give her to one person.

Too young to sex them
And those are Easter Eggers, not Americaunas

See, I wouldn't have known this had I not asked, which is why I'm glad I did.

The person I was supposed to meet today to take the other two roosters canceled on me, but I had another inquiry from someone who wants them so hopefully it works out. Also I was referred to Freehling Farms by the new owner of the first two roosters and it looks like a great place. They sell chicks and started pullets, ducks and others. And they are only about an hour drive.
