I got Biscuit (Buff Orpington) and the late Cleo (we think Welsumer, thanks Kelsie2290)[IMG]from a friend who had too many chickens.

Biscuit was the only hen to successfully hatch a clutch (a previous hen never stayed on them long enough). She managed to steal eggs from the other hens (four for sure belonged to my late Turkens, Helga and Olga) and only one appears to have been hers. The rooster was named Sir Galahad (Easter Egger, again thanks) he was such a handsome rooster. The weird thing is, one of the chicks has colors NONE of the other chickens had.

Sir Galahad and the "egg donors", one red Turken not pictured.

They love it. Today they learned how to get up onto the hammock the pillow came from. Its funny to see 5 little chicks calmly rocking in the breeze. [IMG]
