Olive Tree Organic eggs
A few days have passed, and life in the brooder has fallen into a routine. We know we are at a free-range, organic egg farm--pretty good as homes go. I have gotten to know all the pullets now--in addition to the aforementioned ones, there is Macy, Lill, Cara, Clucky, Molly, Leeann, Junie, Spring, and Marilla.
Already all of us have grown in wing feathers. There are other brooders around us, and we can communicate by standing on the feeder and yelling. IN this way we have learned names of some in the brooders around us: Lena, Josie, Lola, Rita, Jacob, Rose, Olivia, Aqua, Tillie. From yelling from brooder to brooder in a sort of telephone fashion, we learn bits of info that the chicks in other brooders overhear from the humans. So we know where we are, what day it is, what time it is (the time is passed along every hour, since one brooder can see a clock) and that we start Meadow Hill chicken school on the first of April.

Snowy: HIT THE DECK! PECKING ORDER FIGHT!
FeatherTweeter: *peck each other,make stuff fall over*
Fluffy: I don't like fights! Uhh, I'm on Tweeter's Team!
Snowy: and I'm on Feathery's Team!
Fluffy: UHH, WE GIVE UP! *fligs white feather*
Tweeter:*gasp* ow. you win.
Feathery: woo!
(chickens go outside,then walk to stick pile)
Snowy: this is the stick pile.
Tweeter: you think we don't know that?
Fluffy: AAHHHH! LOOK UP! LOOK UP! ITS....EVIL EAGLE!
