Black ameracauna from lavender breeding program bred to barred hen?

I have a black ameracauna rooster that is from a lavender breeding program. My question is , I want to cross him over barred rock or cuckoo maran hen or a barred ee hen. Since he carries the lavender gene, If I breed the f1(brother to sister)to each other,can I get lavender barred, lavender cuckoo birds from this breeding? Thanks

You can not know if both the F1 brother and sister carry the lavender gene. Each sibling bird must carry a lavender gene to produce offspring that are the lavender variety. The father can only give the lavender gene to half of the offspring-the other half will not carry the lavender gene. You may or may not pick a bird that has the lavender gene.
