She is the most friendly and tame of the 3 chickens I currently have. I plan on getting another this spring. Have learned it is best to space the ages to keep the eggs a comin'

Surprise! Claire, Black Astralorp egg today! I started giving them cooked oatmeal, thawed frozen maine blueberries and a dollop of greek yogurt a few days ago as an afternoon treat. Have no idea if that is what turned the faucet back on but I'll go with it. Would you call this a "tan" or "brown' egg. It certainly is lighter in color than store bought brown eggs.

Hi tigger19687! She definitely has graysish to pinkish white bottom of the feet NOT yellow.

Yes, she's a Australorp. They have those darker feet and more of the green sheen to their feathers.
