EGGS! 5 down 11 to go for me!

My one BA is the last one to lay -- sh was hatched April 4, this year. Her fellow BA with same hatch date started almost a month ago. I can see that shes starting to squat so I know her time is near. her "sister" got quite loud when she first started to lay. Now she's better but she's still the loudest of the bunch. Hang in there, I know its tough.

I have 2 BA's that are almost 23 weeks old and nothing. I do feed them layer because a week ago I ran out of feed and decided to just get layer. I figured it would not cause any trouble.

Got my first egg yesterday!

I have two Black Australorps, one is really reddened up and the other, is almost there. I believe they are roughly 22-26 weeks. Not sure how old they were when we got them. I think they were close to 3 or 4 weeks when we got them in May.

Ok, so I am ready to give up. We have the SWEETEST Black Austrolorps that we raised. Bought them on April 1st, and they were maybe 3 days old or so. I just counted on the calendar and it has been 31+ weeks and NEITHER CHICKEN IS LAYING! We have a great coop, a nice warm heat lamp, food, oyster shell, constant water and food, and they are outside all day in the backyard. WHAT MORE DO THEY NEED???? My only thought is that their feather on their backs close to their tails (but not there actual tail feathers) and all snipped up as though another one of our chickens (6 others, including reds and leghorns) may be PECKING at their feathers and breaking them off? I don't see ANY of those black feathers in the coop, though anywhere!
What is going on??? ANyone have ideas???? AHHHHH!!!!! Plus the fact that we have 8 chickens and barely get 3-4 per day!

You say they are outside in the back yard all day and you have no eggs. Check around the yard for hidden nests. It is possible that they are laying outside somewhere. And they may be eating the eggs, or something else is. So go on an egg hunt and see if maybe they are hiding them from you.
