Hello BYC Family!
Ok, so ive got 5 2 month old (or so) BA ladies. My only concern is that three have all black and grey legs and feet, and two have grey and yellow legs and feet. Is this normal? I was expecting them all to have those gray feet and legs. What furthermore concerns me is that the two with the different colored legs, act differently and are always the more visibly timid chickens. Have been since day 1. This is the ONLY difference between them, no visible size or coloring issues. Combs all growing at the same rate, as well. All 5 of my ladies have black and yellow mixed color beaks, except for one of my girls who i call "blackie" because of the fact that she is the only BA that i own whose beak is completely black.
Any thoughts on the variation? The leg and feet thing has me through a loop....

Thanks for the input!

long story short i recently thought i had australorps ( tractor supply mislabeled chicks that were suppose to be barred rocks) found out i have jersey giants. pinkish flesh color feet = australorp yellow = jersey giants. and the yellow is very apparent im partially color blind and could tell they were yellow ( not color challenged wife affirmed) anyways just agreeing with above about feet color.

Well folks! Looks like I've got one jersey giant! The other is a black Australorp with "poor coloring". It's not yellow on the bottom of the others feet, it's pink, but the legs aren't as gray as the rest of my hens. Suppose she would be one I wouldn't breed. Thanks everyone for the help!
