These are my Black Australorps, when I bought them the lady said they are 'just over 3 months', so I'm not sure the exact week. I'm positive that 11 are roosters, and at least one has started crowing but I haven't been able to catch which. But there are two that I'm not certain about. They don't have as large of combs and they're not nearly as red. But they do have pretty long tail feathers, although they aren't arched. They were all in a tight space for a few hours while we readied their coop, (I know, should have had it ready before we brought them home.) and these two were getting pecked around their tails pretty bad. No feathers, bleeding. Just makes me curious since they both happened to have smaller/paler combs. If there were only two hens in a group of roosters would they pick on them?
Last 2 pictures are the others for comparison. Thanks!
