what a coincidence , I had a hen exactly like the picture that appeared one day in my yard. I was, am still curious as to the breed. I figured she to be a bantam as she is smaller than my buffs. she free ranges with the other hens and a rooster. she had been roosting in a tree and not in the coop with others. however, I have gone out after dark to close coop door and the girl was roosting with others here recently. well, she appears now to be sitting on eggs, probably hers and buffs. not sure how many eggs yet but has been 3-4 days on the nest. hope the girl can do it. she is cute. I enjoy reading all the post. thanks
