Black Bobwhite quail chick?

Just hatched out a few bobwhite quail that I have been raising and out pops this guy.. Any thoughts on what color phase they call this. Have hatched 60 or 65 this year and never had one turn out like this. Even his legs are black.. Thanks for any help.

Can you get a better pic? Can't tell much in this photo. At 1st look, appears to be a Tennessee Red?
 
That looks more like a melanistic pheasant chick than a quail chick?!??!!!
I have no idea! :confused: I've hatched and raised thousands of Bobwhites and have never seen one like this one!
Yes sir that was my first thought also and it is twice the size of it's siblings of the same age. 2 days old.

It does have pheasant characteristics. Were these from your birds or shipped eggs? Do you still have the egg shell,? I'd like to see a pic of it!
 
Yes my own birds. The eggs shells were all mixed up as I had 14 of them hatch. All look like regular bobwhite eggs. All more or less the same size and all solid white..
