Black chicken from Meyer Hatchery

I don't but can take one. Ours is 10ish weeks and blue. Very adventurous and one of our favorites from that Meyer assortment.

I thought the black Sumatra’s were supposed to have a pea comb. Here is her development so far. Coming up on about 4 mos old.

More pics coming tonight where I can get close to her. Her comb has ridges on it similar to my leghorns.

Meyers also Black Orpingtons in their rare breeds in addition to the other breeds that have been mentioned. I got a rare breed assortment from them too. I’ll try and get pics of them tomorrow for you to compare with. I think I have two blue Andalusians and 3 blue/black/splash Orpingtons but they’re only -7 weeks now so it might not be helpful.

Okay, here are mine. This one is the one I think is a black Orpington but I could be wrong about it or any of the others. They all will be 8 weeks on Monday.

And here are some pics of the two that might be blue andalusians.

Unfotunately, they still don’t trust me enough to let me hold them so I couldn’t get a pic of the bottoms of their feet.
