Dona Worry
Crowing
I hatched out 7 chicks from my own birds this year, and Inam just idly wondering what they might look like when grown.
The parents: 3 eggs were from my gold laced wyandotte, 1 egg from a silver laced wyandotte, one from my EE, all crossed with my Black sex link x Lavender orpington roo.
Here is my silver laced (gold laced is no longer, sadly), rooster, EE hen, and some of their resulting chicks.
Cookie, my EE chick. Looks identical to the others!
Then I had 2 pure black chicks from this handsome boy, seen here with his gold laced hens. I hatched 1 polish, and another from the cream legbar.
Only the poofafloof is from this rooster, the other is a wyandotte chick.
I'm assuming the polish crosses will both stay pure black, as they are the blackest chicks that have ever been black, but what about the wyandotte crosses? What will those white tips on the wings and white spotted cheeks become? And what about my EE chick?
