I have two that are practically twins that I was sure were pullets, but as they have grown, they have exhibited a couple of questionable features. The most, although I know is not entirely gender specific, is they are starting to be the most vocal to the point of heading toward crowing first in my new flock.

They are about 8 weeks old.

I figured I would throw them to the experts. Mother was the cochin, father the brahma.

Maybe 1 because the comb is already reddish. It could be normal for the breed though.

I didn't really want to judge by voice queues alone, but I already ended up with two roos I didn't intend on keeping that I fell in love with. I just wanted to be extra extra sure and needed another pair of eyes on the situation.

Glad I'm not losing my touch!
