Black comb - rooster

Hmm, more pics in better lighting would be most helpful. From what I can see there may be some necrotic tissue on the points but hard to tell for sure. It could very well be frostbite.
Are his wattles and the rest of the bare areas on his face normal in color?

I read that sometimes the circulation isn’t good in those bigger combs. Idk
I am only a year and half into this adventure.

anyone else see this and what should I expect? I started heating coop maybe too late. Should of done that sooner I guess- this is all new. I have several farmers her some heat some do not.

His wattle has a slight black edge. I think that is coming back I removed heated dog water dish and switched to a heated nipple unit.

Frostbite right? I started treating it w vasoline first sign of black tips in October.
nothing seemed to stop it.
Now daily treatment With neosporin. He comes inside for a little bit about 15 minutes and then in the sick pen for 30 w heat lamp red light 250 just until I am sure it is dry. It is about 40 degrees in that area.

20f is -6C degrees. 5f is -15C. Humans already experience hypothermia in water that is 30 degrees warmer than this, ie at 15 degrees C. Chickens have thick feathers but the comb has nothing to protect it. Shame it happened
