I just brought mine home late last night. They are from BAYHORSEBONNE on e-bay. I drove 928 miles round trip to pick them up! Boy am I tired today, but she said I wouldn't be disappointed.

She picked them out for me herself from a group of about 18 of chicks she had.
I set up a mobile brooder with a heating pad. It took me forever to get home because I was worried about the temp in the box and kept stopping to check on them. As it turns out, I really didn't need the heating pad at all. They were plenty warm! In fact I was more worried about them getting too hot than too cold.

Here's one of the cutest in the bunch. He has some white feathers, but she says that's not a problem at all. I'm very excited.

Yeah!! You did it!! Wow! That's a lot of driving in a short amount of time. Your baby looks just like mine did when I got mine from Bayhorsebonne. We are relatives, so to speak.

My girls are turning into the most beautiful birds. They are so healthy and energetic. Keep posting picks as yours grow. How many did you end up getting? Isn't Donna the best? Congrats again.

They are soooooo cute! We have tried to bid on her eggs but they just end up going for too high a price with the risk of shipping. Hopefully I'll get some when no one is paying attention to ebay!
