Black Copper Maran Rooster with my Buff Orpington Hen makes what?!?!

Pics
I do plan on separating the BCMs for a bit to get pure BCM chicks, they seem to already be love birds anyhow lol (7 week roo 8 week pullet) & I definitely want an OE or 2 (but once chicken math takes over maybe 5 😂) but curious if I should just let nature do it’s thing & have a bunch of barnyard mix babies or separate the Roos from pullets for more controlled breeding. I also want to get an Ameraucana rooster at some point to have some pure chicks but I have to wait till I have more females lol. We’re fortunate our 2 current Roos don’t fight too much
Well the hens can still hold the roo’s sperm for 3 weeks after being with him.

Hey everyone, for those of you don't know I have seven chickens. Six of them are hens and one is a rooster. Anyways I want to have some baby chicks and the breed of my hens is a factor in an experiment I am doing. I am trying to see what each chick will look like with a pair of genes from the following breeds:
Black Copper Maran x Buff Orpington (I have two of these)
Black Copper Maran x Rhode Island Red ( I have one)
Black Copper Maran x Americauna ( I have two of different colors)
Black Copper Maran x Wheaten Maran (I have one)

Anyways if you know what a crossover with the highlighted one please let me know also if you know any others I am not saying I won't appreciate your advice. :wee Thanks,

Did you ever end up doing these crosses?

Have all the fun you want. But keep in mind that people took decades to create those breeds, and the chicks you sell on will be part of the undoing of that work. Breed away; just please think of the long term implictions
What do you mean by that?
I know this is an older post, but I just wanted to add that nobody is ever obligated to breed purebred chickens. What chickens you breed is entirely up to you. Selling mixes is perfectly fine as well, as long as you’re honest about them being mixes.

We had a half Orpington had Americauna or maybe Easter egger cock. He was quiet, sweet, and once he figured out how he was supposed to treat his hens, he quit treating the coop like his own personal frat party.
