Black copper Maran?

I was told this is a black copper maran, I got her with another baby that turned out to be a rooster (I included the photo). She’s almost 11 months old and if she has laid an egg it was lighter with speckles, but could have been one of my other chickens. Otherwise I have never caught her laying an egg or seen any other signs she’s laying eggs (she doesn’t squat, doesn’t make noise, and doesn’t sit in the nesting box). Now I’m second guessing she’s a BCM or laying the lighter (dark but not chocolate) speckled eggs that are very inconsistent. Any insight would be helpful. All of my other chickens lay regularly with no issues.

I don't see anything that stands out that points to her being anything but a BCM. They have to be bred well to get that very dark color of egg. Is she hatchery quality?

However...was the cockerel supposed to be a BCM? Because if you got him from the same place and they said Black Copper Marans, I'm not so sure. His colors don't seem to match up. Specifically the wings.
