I'll be selling the fertile eggs for $50 a dozen plus shipping. They are from Jesse Bryant's and the hens and roosters are gorgeous. I am keeping a waiting list for the eggs.

I got 15 hatching eggs directly from Bev Davis for $60. shipping included but I think her price is now $70. a doz (but she adds extras).
Selling any chicks for $20. a piece seems a bit steep to me.
Marans simply aren't that rare to demand such prices.
I think some people are just taking advanatge of the Marans buying frenzy.

Got my chicks for $5 a pop from Wade Jeane lines not sure if the prices went up after I bought mine though. From whitemore farm they are only $7 a piece! I now that they cost allot to get good stock but I am not sure I would pay those prices. I guess to each their own I will not judge anybody for taking advantage of peoples stupidity or the Marans craze. Sorry I am not talking about one person in perticular or anybody on this board at all everyone here is an honest seller just comenting on the Marans craze as well.
