Black Copper Marans Chicks

I don't know what the market is in your area. I think I would ask $25 apiece for mine, day olds and twice that for pullets. A proven, steady dark layer, I think I would ask a hundred dollars for in today's market. (NO, I am not offering my best hen for sale by stating the above!)

Good luck with your endeavor. Cash in if you can, strike while the iron is hot, make hay while the sun shines and all that! Now adays they say You GO girl... same thing.

Congratulations!

I got my day-old Black Copper Marans from Jesse, Black Copper King, for $15 each and I went and picked them up. They are very nice and so are Jesse and Janice. Out of 10, half are roos! We will keep 2 and eat 3.
