I find that photos taken in only natural sunlight (no inside artificial lights on) works best. It seems to capture the true color of the eggs. Though I still find blue and green eggs to be a bit tricky

What groups are you a part of that are of value to you? I mostly see folks telling each other their Marans look amazing on FB, and 98% of them are not. I would like to find a good Marans group on FB.I believe many have gravitated over to Facebook. I see Wheaten breeders over there on the Marans Fanciers group.

I see people posting photos for advice, some straight forward advice even if advice is 'cull'; it is not a selling group. There's at least one APA judge who is a member. Bev Davis is a member and other people who work hard with this breed.

I'm glad to see you two hooked up. Sidewing and I post together a lot on another thread, and he has talked to me some about SQ marans, but I am still learning. I mentioned DesertMarcy to him, because you guys are a lot closer to each otherThanks!
