Marans Club USA sells them. Go here and scroll down to purchase:I have a color chart that I ordered from the Marans Club and it looks different than your chart you show above and the colors on my chart do not seem accurate in my opinion. Maybe I possibly have the other chart you are referring to. I never use my chart as an egg color reference.

MCUSA chart only shows #4 to #9 (because less than a 4 is not a Marans). Thanks
I have the chart that looks like the one pictured on that page, the chart that is on the table displayed with the eggs.
Two females.Hello I have a question about my newly purchased Copper Marans.... I was told that the one with the larger comb was a rooster and that the smaller comb was a hen. I am new to the breed and once I got them home and looked up pictures I think they are both female!? I don't mind but just want to know. The larger comb Marans will let out a pitiful crow in the morning and always calls the other over to food like a rooster would. But I do not see any spurs present or even saddle or hackle feathers. Also the coloring is all wrong. Any help would be appreciated

There's really no need for the birds to roost. In fact with very heavy breeds (and Marans can get large) they can become injured from jumping down off of high roosts and/or crooked keels from improper roosts. If you really want them to roost for some reason, make sure the roost bars are appropriate size for the bird and go in and put them up on the bars every night until they do it themselves. It can take a while.Ok so my Morans and olive egger all have started laying some beautiful eggs.(Positive) These birds will not roost they all sleep in the corner of the coop (negative) I put new roosts in high medium and low. No change. Does anyone have any other ideas. All my other birds roost no problems.
