About 4-5 week one has a bigger comb and one has copper on its wing feathers does having copper on its wing feathers mean its a boy?

i think most of the time it does but im not sure. the one of mine that i think is a boy has copper coming in on its wings too and the other doesn't.

They are confusing cause the one with the bigger comb who acts more like a roo has no copper yet and the one with copper on it wings has a smaller comb and is much calm and doesnt stand as tall and such

Lol I hear ya, I sat and watched mine for almost an hour today studying them trying to figure out their sex. Its really hard when they're that young. I would think that if you have 2 and one has a considerably bigger comb then one is male and one female but you never know lol. The one i have with copper on the wings also has the bigger more orange comb so lol.

here are my 2 BCMs. They're 3 weeks old, im pretty sure one is a cockerel but not sure on the other one but i'm leaning towards cockerel as well. Chick #1 ??? The 2 together Chick #2 Cockerel?

are you guys talking about mossiness? I think that happens mostly in pullets but might can happen in roo.

im not sure but probably, when do the cockerels start getting copper coloring?

Ok i looked it up lol its the brown tint in the wings right? Im glad u said it happens in pullets alot i was afride it was certain it was a boy too

I tried to get some better pics of my rooster this morn. Again he is 14 weeks old. They move a lot so I had a hard time getting shots that might help
