Black copper marans... hen?

5 month old black copper marans. I thought for sure she was a hen for the longest time and she's even started to root around in the nest boxes. The only thing that's changed my mind is the comb has gotten larger and redder but I have read that happens before they start laying. I have 2 others but they are 4 weeks younger. Anyone have experience with them?

I don't have much experience with BCM, but that is a hen for sure.
Lot's of POL pullets get huge combs and wattles!
