Black egg?

That's OK. We're all different with our own goals and purposes.
I hate to be such a fuddy duddy. :old
I know crosses can be good healthy stock.
I'm not telling others what to do but I don't have the time or space to deal with any animals outside of my goals of improving a breed.
We all have goals and it's all good either way you look at it..:woot

My drake is a Pekin. They’re in love and I’ll totally hatch her little mutts lol. She laid another egg today and I’m surprised at how much lighter it is than the one she laid yesterday! Any suggestions on good, small incubators?

She's a Cayuga... most hatchery ones have white 'fault' markings, no biggie... and as they age, each year the white spreads...

Brinsea for top of the line small bator... for best cheapest, Hovabator 1602N...

This duck is 2-3.5 years old, no one here has ever seen a black egg before. Had a duck that looked very similar that way laying white eggs, after she disappeared there were no more duck eggs
as they get older they get more white

also i have a friend that has a call duck that once in awhile will lay a grey/black egg like that, tried to incubate one but it didnt make it unfortunately

That is hilarious! Her toner is refilled and she’s ready to print! :lau
