Yup, A lot of hatchery quality Cayugas will have patches of white feathers here and there.. And some will start to appear as the get older. You can see in the picture that my Cayuga has some white feathers coming in but it's still a pure-bred Cayuga.. just not show quality.Some Cayuga have a bit of a white bib in the non show material Ducks..
Thinner shelled Duck egg..Do not know of a black egg layer in Chickens...I've had a black duck egg and a black chicken egg. I have no idea who layed either, but they were quite a shock. Worth noting that I didn't have a Cayuga, though, unless there was a cross in there somewhere. I've wondered if this had happened to someone else!

That's a lot of white for a cayuga.. Could possibly be a mix although I don't think you'd get black eggs from a cayuga mix. I still think it's a Cayuga duck though..
