Black eggs?

I was gonna say Cayuga, too, as I have 26 of 'em, about two-thirds are female, and they lay very dark "black" eggs early in a laying cycle... Gradually getting lighter and lighter. I can always tell when a new girl has started to lay. Well, if finding an egg out somewhere in the open, or next to the kiddie pool isn't a good enough clue to a newly laying duck.

Silly things.

The black eggs amaze my friends.
