Black Flesh Chickens?

You might want to try contacting Kermit Blackwell, I know he made a black fleshed broiler and they are bred in the Northeast. They have black meat and all that like a silkie but are larger and have a better rate of gain/growth.

Swedish black hens are slightly "heavier" than Cemanis, though I would not exactly call 1,2-2kg heavy... diet meat bird maybe

And honestly it would be rather expensive and a shame to keep them for eating purpose. With not even 500 registered, pure bred birds left in Sweden they are rare.

The Vietnamese developed a commercial meat bird from local black fleshed/skinned local & Chinese birds. It is called an Ac.

Out of curiosity...why would you want black skin/meat in a meat chicken? It just seems creepy to me lol...

Very much favoured in Chinese medicine, good demand in the Asian community.
