Black Jersey Giant 6wk cockerel?

She’s 6wks and a bossy girl. Is this too early to sex? She’s the only BJG in my flock so I can’t compare the comb or feathering well. If you suspect cockerel, why?

That's a pretty big comb for 6 weeks -- especially since JGs are said to be slow developers (not necessarily true for hatchery birds).

Probably male, but the saddles will confirm it around 3-4 months old.

Be careful he is about to hit the 7-8 month mark and that’s when roosters start getting aggressive mine was an absolute sweetheart at 6 months be sure to be careful especially with kids
