What's the reasoning behind using a solid black? That would just take you in a circle back to an Ancona.
I would think you would want to bring red in when creating a "red Ancona".
MIAMI can you post a pic of what your end goal bird is? Are there pics of one out there?

Oh I thought they wanted ancona if they want to create a red one then by all means use red I musta read that wrong
