Black on combs

Hi, I have a flock of 12 girls egg production has slowed but the weather is changing. They are all under a year old.
A few of them have black spots on the combs. One had yellow poop but the rest of them are normal poos.
Here is a picture of a scissor beak Wyandotte. Faithful layer and fighter but this breaks my heart. 💔

That looks like fowl pox, a virus carried by mosquitoes. It lasts around a month, but most grown chickens get over it without any treatment. Here is some reading about it:

That is a pretty severe scissors beak. Do you use crumbles in a deep container? Wetting a small amount of feed can also help.

Yes we do, She’s our high maintenance girly. Haha but “Dot” is a family fave.
