there is all ready a large hen house with a long run cover with a mesh I m adding to it a large run and few roosting bar .couple more days and I ll finish my work in it ,than I will bring my chooks from my place in the north 400 Km .

here some photos of the large run I m building as a exttention to the old run .is over 100 square metre serounded with bamboos .lot shade but no much grass .I have to do some thing about it ,maybe I will add another run at the south side where is a lot grass . I see what I can do ,my chooks love grass .

My Ducks love grass also but have it all gone in no time at all. They are real pigs when it comes to grass. You new place is beautiful and I am sure your Chooks will be really happy there.

grass is good for our animals ,make them happy .
yeah i think my chooks will love the new place for sure , problem we have here is birds of prey .sort of eagle or something else ,haven t see it my self ,but the owner of the place lost most of his chooks to this eagle .
I m thinking about putting a fruit mesh over my chooks runs to protect them . bamboo will keep them safe when they are in it but for them to have axcess to the grass they need to go to the open area ,there the eagle will strike .
lot work to do any way but no way I will let the animal eat my chooks .lot time and money been spent on them to get them where they are now .I have the best marans strain in the country ,spent years and years of breeding them to SOP .I can t afford loosing them .

nice hearing from you my friend .
this new place is about 400Km south of the ocean place at north .
this new place is almost half way between the old farm south Sydney area and the northen forest place by the ocean .
this new place is easy to keep thing going ,i need to breed more chooks because my marans flock is getting older 4 and 5 years .
i will develop the ocean place sllowely because a lot work is needed there .I could not finished it on tie to start breeding my chooks .
new place is a working farm ,the ocean place is tribal forest .

Thats right. You are going into breeding season as we are coming out of it.

I see what you mean. There needs to be a place to quickly get the chooks settled and start breeding from your older birds.

good day to you lovely peoples .sorry I did not post here for a while now .I had few technical problem .I moved to a new farm I rented for 3 years till I finish developping my place in the forest .was too much work needed to be done ,i had no time to do any thing else ,so this gorgeous farm come for rent for 2 years .it is my friend place in the montain so I rented it . this farm is eazy to work in it lot clear areas . not very hard to build chooks coops and pens .
so chooks town project still on just a new location . at lease here I don t have to clear any land no trees need to be cut ,just bamboos .
here few photosof the place lovely views and far from peoples but aexy drive to the town for shopping .
