Yep. Or if your pen is large enough, you could sit in the heat outside and wait for her to lay the egg, then pick it up. That's what I did recently. I'm not saying that's the intelligent thing to do, it's just what I did. Quite frankly, Goldie, my Golden Sex Link, seemed to think it was pretty funny!

Being a first timer, I thought there was something strange about the stripes running vertically on the feathers of the other "Rock Barred," when they were still babies. Then I posted in here later, "Mystery Chicken," to find out what she really was. All's well that ends well...
