Hey There,
I'm hoping someone can offer advice on how to help our black sex links that are missing a lot of butt feathers. They are 1 and a half years old, live in a nice coop with a flock of six hens, and seem healthy otherwise. I can't see any bugs or mites on their skin.

It has been a few months with this condition.

Any advice is welcome.

Thanks.

Your chickens are pretty much pecking eachother. Eating feathers...its usually bc of a low protein diet, cramped conditions or boredom. You can put blu-kote on them to help them heal fastee and stop the pecking. But I would also up their protein and maybe added a flock block or something else they can focus their pecking on. Pinless peepers work great too, I've had to use them on a few hens before.
