black silkie cockerel

It looks like I manage to get a cockerel when I got my last lot on 21st August he was in a group of 12 week silkies. He isn't crowing so if he stays the way he is I will keep him. My question is I have seen him mounting the silkies is he going to try it on with the buff orpingtons despite the fact they are way bigger than him?

I had a Silkie roo mate my BO hens a few years back, the resulting chicks were CUTE! Where there's a will, there's a way...if you look thru the pics on my profile page there are some of a rooster I kept from that pairing. He's an all buff bird with a slight crest, feathered feet and a wonky looking straight comb. He was a great guy!
