I have just inherited two black silkies, here is a photo of one of them with one of my polish girls (also a recent addition).

yesssssssssssssss cityslickers pics please . I cann't get my camera charger to work .

i really wanted to show everyone my new buddy . He has what I feel is nice type , right number of toes awsome foot feathering , good cushion ( not great but good ) nice short back . he is a little taller than I'd like ( but not leggy ) His color is very sharp no bleeding in his hackles . Tammy

I'd leave hatcheries out and just buy from breeders. Hatchery Silkies aren't very 'nice looking', when you compare to the birds that have had work put into them by great breeders.
