I got the feather footer mix from cackle hatchery, the bulk was lots of different Cochins, some silkies, and some duccles. When I first saw these chicks I assumed they were silkies and put them in the brooder. They are now starting to get feathers and deff are not silkies.

They are a couple weeks old and are solid jet black, except for a small white spot on their chest. Black feathered legs, black beak, 4 toes, very pretty but I have no idea what they are. The first feathers are starting to come in solid black as well.

I have black Cochin chicks but they have yellowish legs, and the first feathers they get are white.

Headed to the barn to get pix now. Also I forgot they have 4 toes.

Looks like a black cochin. Not all cochins have yellow legs, especially those from a hatchery.
