Black spot in egg after 4 days

3 eggs are 4 days old and when candled there is a black spot in one of them. Is this bad?

im not an expert but i have eggs in the incubator and the ones that had a black spot in it was a good thing cuz now their alive moving around inside my egg shells!!! i cant wait friday is 21 days, so yah i believe thats good!!!! yah!!!

Yes, this is good. That is the embyo developing. Through the eggshell it looks black but I bet if you cracked that egg open, it would be a little red spot.

Okay if you guys say so... I figured I'd hold on to the egg til like day 12 or so and see if there is anymore development. 4 days just seems early...

If you click on the thread referenced above you can see for yourself what they inside is supposed to look like on from day 1. It's an eye.
