Black Spot on Duck Egg Day 21

The mallards all had “bruised” shells before they externally pipped and this one had a greenish spot of funk on the inside with what appeared to be dried blood. I’m thinking that it may have been where the duckling popped a vessel that clotted prior to hatching?

To tag on to this, I believe all of the eggs had some green stuff/ gunk on the inside.
