Black spots on my roosters comb? Help!

For quite awhile now my rooster has had a black spot on his comb, at first I thought it was a scab but it has not gotten better. Now I'm noticing a few very small black spots on my some of my girls... Is this fowl pox? What do I do? Help!,

It almost sounds like peck marks. Is it possible for you to post pictures of the spots on your roo and hens to help us determine what it could be?

I can't tell that much from the picture, but it could be pox or peck injury. Either way, there is no treatment, unless you want to paint some iodine on the spots to help dry them up. Pox will run it's course over 2-3 weeks.

So after posting, my rooster diesel's black spots have all healed and he is lookin good again!
