Black Star Rooster-Solid Black

Thank you so much. Im going to talk to them and see is they have pure stock or not. Its no big deal, but I just was curious if they could be roosters. Here is one more picture.

I say rooster also, I have 2 BSL pullets, they both are different, one colored out quickly with yellow legs, the other not as fast with dark legs:

I'm also curious about this. I thought I was getting a "black star" hen since she was all black and all... but I swear "she" is mounting other hens! Roo or hen?
FYI: It had a few scraggly extra long and curved tail feathers that got plucked out

What do you think the sex & breed is?

They should still be hens. Remember that when dealing with hybrids, they can mature at different rates and have considerable variety in the amount of red from one bird to the next too. Any males would have to be barred. On very rare occasion you can get hermaphrodite chickens (XXY) in which they get large, have some male secondary sex characteristics like saddle feathers, but still lay eggs, usually yolk-less though. In hybrids it is common for them to mature at different rates from each other. I wouldn't worry at this point.
