My black star has red all through the wings

Oh yes I see. However the color of his legs make me think he might be something else. Black sex link usually have blackish legs

I know right. They came from the same bin and were almost identical until a few weeks in. The hen has all black legs.

Here's an updated photo. I'm actually beginning to think that some of you are right! The comb an wattle development hasn't really progressed. It looks pretty much the same from 2 wks ago.

Here's one of her hatchmates. Her comb and wattles have reddened up too. Wow they really do develop fast.
